Bernard Deaton

D. Bernard Deaton is Executive Vice President, Managing Partner for Bradford Companies. Mr. Deaton is responsible for the strategic operations and business development for Bradford Companies.

Mr. Deaton has over 30 years experience in leasing, management and development of commercial properties for private and institutional clients. Mr. Deaton began his real estate career as a marketing representative for Western Management Company in 1972 in Dallas, Texas. In 1981 became a partner in the Fults Companies. As President of Fults Management, was responsible for the leasing and management of up to 20,000,000 SF of commercial properties located throughout the southwest and southeast United States. Some of Mr. Deaton’s clients have included TIAA-CREF, Prudential Financial, KBS Realty Advisors, Equastone, Archon, and St. Paul Properties. His portfolios have included office, industrial and retail properties.

e is an active member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR). He is a Certified Property Management (CPM) as designated by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi.
