J.J. Kissee

J.J. Kissee, CPA, received her Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting from Kansas State University in 1968. After graduating, she spent ten years in public accounting on audit staff – four years with Coopers & Lybrand in Tulsa, Oklahoma and six years with Seidman & Seidman in Dallas, Texas. Her audit experience included such industries as oil and gas, insurance, real estate, banking, and others. J.J. was a manager when she left Seidman & Seidman to become the controller of a privately-held oil and gas company.

J. J. is currently Senior Vice President / Controller of Bradford Companies. She has been with the Bradford Companies for approximately twelve (12) years and has been controller for Bradford for seven of those years. With a total of over thirty years in the accounting profession, J. J. has been instrumental in assisting in the design, implementation, supervision, and review of the Bradford accounting systems, policies, and procedures.

J. J. has experience with various software packages including Skyline, MRI, Timberline and others. She has worked with owners such as Principal Financial Group, the Northwestern Mutual Life Company, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, INVESCO, New York Life, A & B Hawaii, Inc., and others
