Carter Business Center Zeroing in on 100% Occupancy
FORT WORTH Carter Industrial Partners has completed two long-term leases, totaling 44,871 sf, and has a third one in the final stages for the balance of the class A Carter Business Center in South Fort Worth.
Nick Talley, market director for Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, negotiated direct deals with Multi-Shot LLC of Conroe, TX, and Canadian-based Speithe Anderson USA.
Multi-Shot, a manufacturer of components for drilling rigs, has signed a 20,339-sf renewal and expanded by 10,009 sf in Carter Business Center Building 1 at 7821 Will Rogers Blvd. In the coming weeks, Talley expects to close one more deal and fill the 80,266-sf building.
In a relocation decision, Speithe Anderson, a manufacturer and distributor of gymnastics equipment, has taken the remaining 14,523 sf of the 39,997-sf Carter Business Center Building 2 at 7879 Will Rogers Blvd.
"They were actually very smooth transactions," Talley says. "We've had a lot of activity on the buildings in the past six to eight weeks. I think tenants are now willing to get out there, take a look at new product and move forward on space, buildings and expansions."
Carter Business Center is shallow-bay distribution space, with 24-foot clear heights and three dock doors per 10,000 sf. The buildings are located in the 197-acre Carter Industrial Park near the intersection of Interstates 35 and 20.
