AWC Leases 20,000 sf in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH Gaining a beachhead in North Fort Worth, Oregon-based AWC Inc. has taken early occupancy of 20,000 sf to get up and running in its ninth location in Texas.
AWC, signing a long-term lease, has just opened doors at 301 N. Beach St., one of three buildings in a 140,425-sf industrial project owned by Tarrant County L.P. Nick Talley, market director of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, and Karen Simon, executive vice president and managing partner, represented the landlord. Michael Newsome of NAI Robert Lynn Co. represented AWC, a provider of industrial IT, automation, electrical, control, instrumentation, mechanical and filtration needs.
AWC, which has a Dallas location, was drawn to the Beach Street building due to its frontage along a major thoroughfare and easy access to Interstate 39 and Texas 121. AWC's lease nudged the project's occupancy to 83 percent.
“We were able to make this deal because we had lost two tenants and were able to combine two spaces to land a larger, regional tenant,” Talley stresses.
