Granite Security Products taps
21,491 SF in SE Fort Worth
With its 83,900-sf building on the market, Granite Security Products Inc. has leased 21,491 sf in southeast Fort Worth on to accommodate increased inventory through year's end for its Winchester Safe line.
Granite Security has taken as-is warehouse space at 1400 Everman Parkway. "They needed something close to their current facility and this was the closest," says Nick Talley, market director in Fort Worth for Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services and the tenant representative for the transaction.
Talley is marketing Granite's 12.3-acre property at 4801 Esco Dr. "After the building sells, we will look for new space for the long term," he says. The warehouse has a 23-foot clear height, six dock-high doors and two grade-level doors plus fenced outside storage.
Granite Security put the property on the market after moving its manufacturing out of the area. "They just don't need that much space anymore," Talley says.
Conti & Sons Ltd., owner of 1400 Everman Parkway, had in-house broker Ryan Wood negotiating on its behalf.
