GARLAND, Texas – American Builders Contractors Supply Co. Inc. has latched onto a new location in northeast Dallas, inking a long-term lease for an 87,780-sf office/warehouse with three extra acres for outside storage.
ABC Supply's new building materials hub will be located at 2660 Market St. in Garland, just a half-mile from its present address. Kevin Santaularia, president and CEO of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, and Susan Singer, executive vice president, represented the landlord, Herzstein Investments Inc. of Houston.
"The big part of the appeal for this building was that it has three acres of adjacent land that can be utilized for outside storage," Singer says. "There are very few buildings in that submarket that have additional land."
ABC Supply has begun work on retooling the 8,000-sf office for its sales force and showroom. The plan is to relocate by year's end. Mark Collins of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. represented ABC Supply, the nation's largest wholesale distributor of roofing, siding, window and gutter materials, tools and supplies.
ABC Supply will be only the second tenant to occupy the property, totaling nearly six acres. Herzstein built the office/warehouse in 1991 as a build-to-suit for Graebel Moving and Storage.
