DALLAS – Following a highly competitive pitch for its business, ChildCareGroup Inc. has awarded facilities management of its owned and leased real estate in Texas to Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services.
The locally based private nonprofit operates six early care and school readiness centers in Dallas County and one in Beaumont in the southeastern part of the state. The provider also leases 22,000 sf of class A office space in One Mockingbird Plaza, 1420 W. Mockingbird Lane. The assignment covers sale, acquisition and leasing of office and care center space for the 114-year-old program, which provides quality early childhood education to children of low-income working parents.
Bradford’s first mission is to find satellite office space in east Plano for its new client. “The ChildCareGroup definitely has expansion needs. They’ve outgrown their corporate headquarters space and are looking to add centers,” says Clint Manning, a Bradford associate who secured the opportunity to make the new business pitch.
The ChildCareGroup interviewed top-tier brokerage firms in Dallas/Fort Worth for the real estate assignment. The nonprofit provides safe, nurturing and therapeutic settings as well as teacher and parent training, nutrition programs and resource and referral services for parents and employers.
“It’s a tremendous responsibility to represent an organization that’s has such an impact on so many families in the region. We are honored to be able to assist the ChildCareGroup as it moves forward with its expansion,” Manning says.
