Earlier this week while touring a prospective commercial office leasing tenant and longtime friend, Dan Sampson, through one of my properties, he shared with me some good thoughts on the concept of
authority. He said that when we have a great deal of experience in our chosen professions, we are able to speak to clients with
authority. He shared a quote from the renowned educational psychologist,
Dr. Haim Ginott.
“Genuine authority calls for brevity. Only the weak explain themselves.” This is my blog for the month, so let me know how well I’m doing at being brief.
