GARLAND, TEXAS… Ushering in the New Year with a 75,229-sf lease, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. has signed Frank & Frank LLC to the balance of shell warehouse space in Gateway East Business Center Building II , driving the two-building project to 94% occupancy. The deal closes out a three-year strategy to fill a 212,800-sf vacancy created by the bankruptcy of Keys Fitness Products Inc., which emptied nearly two-thirds of 4009 Distribution Dr. The vacancy was gutted and divvied into four suites child pornography lawyer Toronto

Frank & Frank, a third-party logistics firm, will relocate in February to Gateway East’s 294,940-sf Building II from nearby Carrollton. Adam Curran of the Mercer Co. in Dallas represented the inbound tenant, which will be joining Georgia-Pacific LLC, Goodman Manufacturing and AYC Group LLC in Building II’s repurposed block of space. “Northwestern Mutual is considered a great landlord in the market and they always have a creative approach for getting a deal done,” Singer says. “Gateway East is well located and well maintained and can compete with any class A.” Singer has slashed Gateway East Business Center’s vacancy to 25,921 sf a single suite in the 112,000-sf Building I at 4002 W. Miller Rd. The warehouse has 24-clear height and ESFR sprinkler system.
