GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas Pronto Delivery has signed a 34,132-sf renewal and expansion in the Great Southwest Industrial District, abruptly ending a seven-month search for newer warehouse space in the marketplace.
Pronto Delivery’s Arlington hub has added 10,388 sf to its 23,744-sf lease at 1034 Avenue M in an early renewal with Proterra Properties Inc. The as-is contiguous space bumps the 69,748-sf warehouse to 100% occupancy.
“We were looking for newer space and had a few proposals out. Then, Proterra made us an offer that we couldn’t refuse so we stayed,” says Brendan Smith, market director of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services.
Pronto Delivery, a 24-hour service maintains 38 distribution and storage locations in Texas, with corporate offices in Houston and Arlington. The company offers courier services, third-party logistics, freight shipping, cross-docking, distribution and warehousing. The additional room in Arlington is earmarked for warehousing.
“It was a pretty straight-forward deal,” Smith says, “and it meets their space needs for now. They don’t want to leave the Great Southwest.”
