FRISCO, Texas – Fast-growing Skinny IT Corp. has signed a long-term lease for 18,000 sf of headquarters and production space in far north Dallas, marking the first major expansion since its launch in 2010.
Skinny IT, with a field office in Charlotte, N.C., is planning an early March move-in to Frisco Commerce Center Building B at 10570 John W. Elliott Dr. in Frisco. About 50% of the newly leased, class A flex industrial space will house the headquarters office for the company, which has clearly outgrown a 3,000-sf office in Addison.
"Frisco is where the partners live and this is where they wanted to be," says Nick Talley, market director of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services. "They have been outsourcing all across the U.S. Now, they want to bring it together under one roof."
Talley scoured the far north Dallas submarket nearly four months on behalf of Skinny IT founders CEO Sam Darwish and COO Raju Padole. The new location is situated within Frisco's thriving entertainment, sports and retail/restaurant district and just blocks from the Dallas North Tollway.
Skinny IT will set up shop in Frisco Commerce Center's 136,019-sf building, the largest of its three structures, totaling 281,053 sf. Bob Hagewood of Stream Realty Partners LP in Dallas represents the landlord, SeaCal Frisco LLC.
Skinny IT is a hardware and integration company recognized by industry analysts as a leader in wireless services. The company's outsource talent boasts 15,000 technical engineers throughout North America and a network of global integration facilities in Texas, California, Mexico, Brazil, India, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Scotland, Sweden, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
