Recently, I was fortunate to attend the 7
th Annual Smart Talk Smart Women Luncheon, hosted by Alice Seale of Seale Realty Advisors. The event was held at the Pirch NorthPark showroom and was attended by at least 50 women that are commercial real estate brokers or are national retailers. I made some new friends and reconnected with many women that I have done business with through the years.
The CEO of Pirch, Jeffrey Sears, spoke during the luncheon. He went into great detail about their business philosophy and how they plan, execute and operate their stores, as well as their distribution centers. WOW – what an amazing story.
Their philosophy is to live life Happily. Make every moment count (that is their Mission Statement). The Pirch Manifesto is displayed throughout the showroom and is included on their website. Some that particularly spoke to me include the following:
- Your first decision of the day is the most important – choose happiness.
- Tell the people you love what you appreciate about them. Speak from the heart – they may cry.
- Make time for family. In the end, they are everything.
- Be intentional in your living – strive to create beautiful moments.
- Honor your promises.
- Live your life NOW.
The store is a spectacular showroom for kitchen, bath, laundry and outdoor living. If you have not visited, please go – you will be glad you did.
Mostly, I wanted to say “thank you” to Alice Seale for including me in her event and for being my friend and business collaborator. I am very blessed to know you!
During this holiday season, I hope you will take the time to read the whole Manifesto and that it will make the season more meaningful for you and those you love. This networking event certainly had an impact on my perspective!
